Hypnotherapy

Hypnosis is a process of direct focus and reception to suggestion. Hypnotherapy is a talking therapy using the vehicle of hypnosis, to encourage an hypnotic mindset of focused attention. This hypnotic mindset of focused attention allows the mind to be open to suggestion and direction to make changes or overcome situations that have become a challenge in your life. It also allows provocation of your own feelings, behaviours, and thoughts, to overcome troubling and limiting issues in your life whilst promoting self-efficacy. You will develop coping strategies and techniques, positive thought mindset, increasing mind and body wellbeing through identifying and achieving goals.

Self-Hypnotherapy is the same, learning self-hypnotherapy techniques (which I will teach you) allows you to practice, increasing your self-efficacy at becoming a successful receptive hypnotic subject. Learning and practising self-hypnotherapy maximises the opportunity for optimum outcome to reach your goal improving your quality of life.

It’s a bit like going to the gym and training. You become better and more accomplished with the skills required, increasing your ability, setting you on a journey to see better results.

Relaxation Therapy

Relaxation therapy is a process of guided relaxation and breathing techniques to relieve stress and strain on the mind and body.

When we are relaxed, we can benefit from:

  • Slowing our breathing
  • Decreasing blood pressure
  • Relaxing muscles and tension
  • Improving our body’s own functions such as circulatory, gastrointestinal
  • Boosts immune system
  • Improves sleep

Stress is a natural reaction to a busy life, event, deadlines or other pressurised environments or occurrences. Stress that becomes unmanageable and detrimental to our health, daily life and mind should be addressed and this can be through relaxation therapy techniques. Events or occurrences can be driven by small amounts of stress but can easily increase, blocking the positive energy transforming into tension throughout the body. As the body can remember these reactions and responses they can be intensified and longer lasting, causing other physical and psychological symptoms. Vitality means strength, activeness and energy, by releasing the tension vitality can be transferred into relaxed positivity relieving the tension caused.

Stress can cause the body’s systems to work against the mind and body, relaxation works to realign the mind and body promoting a healthier state and wellbeing. Learning to relax can help overcome symptoms brought on by the stresses of life.
